"Mural Rights" Suit Near

According to the Los Angeles Downtown News, artist Kent Twitchell is planning to file a lawsuit "this week" over the destruction of his Ed Ruscha mural last month. Seems it hasn't been easy to figure out who to sue. Apparently the YWCA of Greater Los Angeles operates a Job Corps program inside the building on which the mural was displayed, but Twitchell's lawyers say they are "still getting stiff-armed by the Department of Labor on who actually owns the building."
