A Botero "Sign"

A gallery owner in Fernandina Beach, Florida has prevailed in a (ridiculous) dispute with the city over his display of a Botero print. Prompted by the complaint of a passerby who "went to the city and asked what rules were in place regarding public displays of nudity," the city ordered the gallery to take the print down, saying it violated a sign ordinance because the store already had one sign in place. The gallery owner refused and instead filed a lawsuit. The city quickly capitulated, allowing the picture to remain on display and also agreeing to pay the gallery's legal fees. The story is here.
