More Appropriate

Remember the Connecticut couple who were told by local officials that they couldn't display an Anselm Kiefer sculpture on their front lawn without a "certificate of appropriateness"? The work has ended up on extended loan to Mass MoCA, where it is currently the centerpiece of an exhibition that also includes six large Kiefer paintings.
